Protests against the Global Security Law in Bordeaux

The march for freedoms, Bordeaux, November 2020.

A strong turnout in Bordeaux for the march for freedoms against laws seen as a threat to civil liberties. Several thousand protesters gathered on Place de la Bourse at 2 pm to demand the withdrawal of Article 24 of the Global Security Law, at the call of some sixty organisations and unions. There was damage at the end of the march, and police charged protesters on Rue Sainte-Catherine.
