Self-taught, I have been a photographer since 2015. My documentary approach is taking shape in the West Bank, where I went in 2013 to work on Broken Hopes, a black and white web documentary made on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the peace agreement ratified in 1993 by Israel and Palestine. I then became involved in long-term projects and became interested in portraiture as a documentary tool for informing the world. Whether it be personal or documentary projects, I seek the historical or sociological significance of a subject. I work on memory and resilience in contexts of crisis or social fracture. My projects deal with tension, revolt and imbalance, with a particular focus on the human. In a dreamlike universe, I try to retranscribe a reality, to give voice to the subjects that challenge me between journalistic will to inform and artistic will. I have been a member of the Hans Lucas Studio since May 2017 and of The National Union of Journalists (NUJ) since February 2017.
